We are not the only country that changes our clocks, Europe does exactly the same with Central European Summer Time. I think the main reasons for doing so is to reduce accidents and decrease energy use... so not really a waste of money, perhaps it actually saves money :-)
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm just around the corner from Hare Lane Engineering, I think they may be a bit expensive for the little bit of work I need doing, I was hoping for a hobbyist or a smaller outfit.
Cheers
Hi,
I'm trying to get a little project off the ground and I need to get some pieces of 10mm and 20mm plate machined.
I'm looking for someone in Gloucester(or very close by) that could help me out?
Many Thanks
Marc
Right, I've nearly finished the blast cabinet and I'm now thinking about ordering some media.
I have a few different jobs that need doing around here, I have some alloy wheels, steel wheels, brake calipers and a few other assorted steel items. I'm guessing I will need a few different types...
Thanks for the comment. I'll give you a shout when it's all finished and up and running. Progress has slowed a bit this week, waiting for a pair of gauntlets from the USA, it was the only pair of 10" diameter gloves I could find. Wanted the biggest possible to give me the most range of movement...
Yeah, I've just got one of those ebay 20 gallon pots. I only have a 3hp 100 litre compressor at the moment but I'm on the lookout for an Hydrovane 40+ CFM compressor
Yeah it is a good size. 1200mm (at it's longest) deep, 900mm wide and 1m height (1700mm total height). The plan is to have only 1 pair of gloves set into the front door. I was then going to make a frame that will sit on the grid to hold alloy wheels etc. I am also looking for an heavy duty lazy...
Here's my latest project, a sandblasting cabinet. I will probably be mostly using this to clean vehicle wheels. I looked around at the existing cabinets on the market and found the Guyson Wheelmaster, so I set about copying it.
I have used 20mm x 20mm x 3mm angle, 3mm flat and 1.2mm sheet.
I bought those a couple of weeks ago on that deal, the only problem I find with Hitachi grinders are the leads always get tangled and they always break the outer insulation near the plug(on the 110v versions)
Oh and the other problem I had when I bought those was, my son(Dangerous Dean)...
