Hi all.
Built a repackable silencer for my seven a few months back and have been enjoying ear defender free driving over the summer. Short video of the build below. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
Hi all,
I have been beavering away in the shed at the top of the hill and built myself a new shop. Its about 78m2 inside (840ft2), Insulated, with the same area above on a mezzanine for storage.
Hope you enjoy the build video.
Cheers,
Tilly
Wow looks like there are a fair few members over the western side of the welsh border.
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you all. Been running round like a headless chicken all week moving things, etc
Thanks for all the advice it's much appreciated.
All my machines are being moved on...
Hi all,
I'm currently in the process of moving to Pembrokeshire. The machines are all wrapped up and getting moved this week. All very exciting there is a big barn that I can use as a workshop for the Youtube channel and general tinkering etc. But...
I could do with a bit of advice from...
Hi all,
I had to do some rolling a few weeks ago to make a prototype for a customer. Just made do with what I had for the prototype but they now want a few more parts so thought I'd make myself a little ring roller.
Primarily designed for rolling 80 /100mm wide flat but I shoved a bit of...
Not a silly question at all.
If you have free access to the MIG kit then yes it's well worth getting some practice in. It will help you to learn about puddle control, torch angle, gas flow, travel speed and many other factors.
The value of all of these parameters will all of course all be...
Hi all,
I was asked to make a prototype weigh frame by a customer. Seems to be working well and delivering the results they require.
Hope you enjoy the video.
Thanks. Glad you both enjoyed it.
I've just ordered the parts for the rotary table. Hopefully they turn up in time.
Tony did a lovely job of his, it's an outstanding Youtube Channel.
Hi all,
I had an interesting little pay job for the home shop this week. A customer who designs autonomous factories has asked me to modify some automatic valves for him to prevent them from leaking. Hope you enjoy the video. It's small scale batch work so something a little different to my...
Thank you all for your kind feedback. Your support is very much appreciated. Both positive and constructive feedback on the videos is always gratefully received.
For confirmation for those who were wondering the test pressure on the tank plate is 350PSI.
The drain was meant purely as a drain...
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. If I remember correctly the test pressure stamp on the tank was 350PSIG so should be fine for my compressor. If I wind it right up I can fill to 150PSIG.
Hi all,
Here are my latest efforts in the workshop. Seems to be working well so far. Not blown myself up anyway...
Hope you enjoy the video.
Cheers,
Tilly.
Similar yes. The one I used in the video I actually made when I was at college about 15 years ago. But very similar yes.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.
That's very interesting. I have a whole host of questions. Sorry.
Do you power multiple motors at the same time and switch them on and off while the VFD is running or does the VFD power down between changeovers?
How did you size the VFD. For the largest motor in the system I assume?
How...
Hi All.
I keep hearing this question come up on various facebook groups and web forums. So I have put together this little video in an effort to debunk some of the false information and give people the pros and conns of both devices. My hope is that this will allow home workshopers to make an...
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Nope that's not me, sorry.
Thanks Carl; I really appreciate your support. I hear what you are saying about being able to compose your thoughts for a forum post. It's much easier and less pressured having to think and speak at the same time... And there is spell...
