Can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement grease bucket flexible hose it's about 1.5 metre long. I think bsp fittings at either end. Pump lever type bucket (not pressure type with tap on)
Cheers Derek.
After sorting no. 2 sons girlfriends car this morning, I thought right play time! There was about 10 mm space needed to fit the 127 to mesh with the lead screw I took the intermediate shaft off and filed the corners off the pin to allow it to slide to the end of the slot only about 3mm each...
sorry pete should have said front my mistake it is now fitted at rear. I cant get it to fit at front between the intermediate shaft and the leadscrew so swapped them thinking it would be the same ratio ill have a mess with again later again
the problem is Pete, with the 127 at the rear as shown on the diagram there's not enough room to slide it right along the fork to get it in to drive the leadscrew therefore I put it the other way which works by moving the fork up/down ill have to file the slot longer
I think that's where my problem lies then. I have the 127/120 cluster driving the incorrect way around the top 60 is driving the 127, and the bottom 60 is being driven by the 120. I couldn't fit the correct way as I had a cluster fork fouling issue. I thought as the cluster shared the same shaft...
Hi Pete cheers for the reply I found it on a practice cut having set the gears as on the lathe diagram is it me ????
a d 4 v 60 120 127 60 gear cluster being 127/120 on intermediate
second diagram down top left corner 4tpi
Has anyone any experience with an axminster 330 lathe? I purchased one cheap from a local school with some other stuff hardly been used but stuck at the back of my workshop for 12 months.
Finally got myself a rotary 3 phase converter and dug it out took it home wired up and running.
I want to...
There is a product called creocote can be purchased in 5 gallon drums. I have used water based over the years and found it to last as long as it took to paint on (rubbish)faded in 12 months needed reapplying in 2 years.
I was told creocote was the next best thing to creosote so used it on twenty...
Been using it quite a bit already, press has a high/low option straightens mower unit mounting pins as if they are rubber, inch and half round used to straighten in a vice with scaffold pole and heat. How did I manage b4 best £250 I spent !
if you got isolating valves to heating system, pump up system to correct pressure, turn your valves off overnight on boiler , if pressure drops its boiler problem as you have isolated it from heating loop, if pressure stays up problem is in heating loop.
Try that
Yes I could have cried having to cut through the column on the scrap one. I tried everything even sledge and block of wood with chisels inside clamping part but not a thou of movement so had to resort to the 9 inch malita lol
Could have a few parts up for grabs in the future though drill marked...
