Having 6 custom BBQ's you'll probably be clued up on your cooking surfaces, but just in case, it's not galv rebar is it?
If it is, it will be hot dipped so overnight soak in vinegar won't remove it all. A good long burn, then extra cleaning before it's "food safe".
May the good weather be...

Was thinking the same, however, check if warranty is voided if disassembled, then check for a batch number inside.
Used to work for a firm who tested their faulty returns to destruction, partly to get early notice of bad batches, partly to check if counterfeits had entered the market. Hardly...

Not sure if I read it here, or a US forum, but have heard people recommend the rolls of cellophane stuff that florists use. I don't fancy it myself but as we're throwing ideas around.
Next mod needed to cure the birds nest effect. Use steel liner all the way back to the rollers, ground into a " < " shape, and I mean all the way back to the rollers.
Did this on mine, never had a problem since. Previously I had to rebuild the thing after every 2 inches of weld.
Edit: I don't...
As with everything, there are calculations that could be done, but that should only be relevant if the weld is being done by robot.
Just practice and you'll get used to watching the weld pool, and moving as you see the desired weld forming.
Thinking of examples and I cant stop thinking of...
Ahh, memories of that damned fusebox! The leak comes down the windscreen, and straight under the fusebox, into the passenger footwell (RHD), then I'm de-icing the inside of the windscreen before work of a morning. The back seats had mushrooms growing when I got the car off a mate (for a song) as...

When you talk about the hose being taped, are you meaning the inch or more diameter outer sheathing. On my Clarke 150 Mig I constantly had to open the torch and reconnect the gas tube to the valve because of a dodgy push - fit connector, could be a leaky one of them if the gas tube is intact...
If you decide to use cd's, make sure to use a high quality brand. Cheap ones don't work well after the first few inevitable scratches.
Print and laminate might be best for use in a workshop environment.

Have a read of the link above as it sounds similar.
May be of use, may not. Good luck, and welcome, you've chosen the right forum for getting things solved - lots of good advice on here.
