I bought a wee fitting to connect my hobby mig to a normal full sized regulator for £6 something from my local engineering supplies shop. I would avoid ebay, just take your regulator into the store and tell them you need it to accept a 4mm hose. I can take pictures of my setup if that helps.
I know this isn't exactly what you asked for but I think Wurth P2 masks are the best ones to use when cutting chipboard. We have a 3ph panel saw which throws up very fine dust and these fit very well and don't clog.
It was bought for the bike and used in the car too. It's not unusal for them to crack in a bike crash and leak all over the bike damaging the paint on the side which didn't touch the road and ramping up the repair cost.
I have DOT 5 brake fluid in my car and bike, when I bought them they both needed a fluid change so I went for this because it wouldn't eat paint if a resivoir burst. I can't say I noticed a difference in the feeling (because I wasn't familiar with the feeling before hand) but it hasn't caused...
A trickle charger is always a handy thing to have, I use one of these on the bike

I don't think she had a fair chance. Wasn't her dad famous? Maybe the drugs came about from the people he associated with as she was growing up, drugs and fame seem to go hand in hand.
R.I.P to the poor people in Norway.
I don't have much time for druggies but to be honest I still felt sad to hear of a 27 year old passing away, R.I.P Amy
Little bit of a discussion on burners here

I need to make one of these/ a waste engine oil burner before winter becuse we have no heating in the workshop (old barn)
+1 I have been working as a joiner since 2007 (shopfitting/ kitchens) and none of the five of us in the company have CSR card, never been asked for one entering a site either, mind you building site work has been very slow in the last few years.
Oh really......? That should take care of those docking leaves that refuse to die, thankfully we don't have any trees, just block walls and a shed :clapping:
It can probably be bought locally, I buy supafine sand from Fyffes so they may stock it.
I have been meaning to contact this crowd to see if they can supply it because I am about to build my own soda blaster

This pretty much sums up why Europe and the US are in huge debt (plus the wars obviously). Nobody wants to make anything and don't see a problem in sending their money to another continent. The economy would have been ok if we produced stuff, Canada and Oz are doing pretty well because they have...
Since you're supposed to use an air fed mask that means your friend should own/ rent a compressor. Why not buy a cheapo spray gun? You'll get better results and you get more paint for your money. I bought one off ebay with a 1.3mm tip and it takes primer, colour and lacquer with decent results...
I see what you mean now :ashamed:
On the plus side the wheels on my car are 17" and about 11kgs each! (Alfa Romeo selespeeds) and the earth is likely to give way before I crack one of those beefy critters.
(picture from Google)
Superbike teams change their wheels regularly to avoid wheels snapping from fatigue. Comparing a (unrepaired) damaged race wheel to a repaired road wheel is harldy a valid comaprison no matter how you look at it.
This is pretty much my view on things. I know less than nothing about aluminium casting/ welding but I had a bike wheel repaired becuse £40 was a lot easier to swallow than £300+ and it has survived a good 15k miles on the road. The repair was filling a little nick rather than a crack but it's...
I have a cosmo(s?) 170 welder which I think is the same thing. My trigger feels rubbish (sticky/ notchy) and the welder has had very little use. I just thought I'd give you a heads up before you tackle a big job/ tight deadline. I have to try and work which aftermarket torches fit....
