hello there, looks nice that wheel of yours. If I can be so bald to suggest one thing, cause I see that this will flex.
I would suggest that you set a flat steel bar maybe 100 mm on the inside of the frame to stiffen it. This can be either waltzed in to a roughly shape or cute in sections...
I'm wherry found of the recycle stations here in Norway, always some of the washers that are shoot or just dumped since they had last years color...

have you checked the torque on the motor and the needed on the pump? Good idea to use the old motor. I saw ( with no other resemblance) a old ford four cylinder ford motor where to cylinders where used as an air compressor......

Yep, that's right! About 1987 mod 1000 cc, got it as a junk motor. It start's and run after a while, some bad sounds from some bearings in side. But not'n that cant be fixed. Like the rack it's suspended in? The first job in the new shop will be to start fabricating the frame to the cross cart...

I went of and got me some new project. All off this in the end is going ti be fitted in the new shop but the way looks a bit long now, but that is only in the eye of the beholder. The fact is that I've got it for some 50£ and that is some pounds that i can spend in the lottery...
