Just wondered if anyone knows.
I am replacing all the calipers on my van, with secondhand better condition ones.
I have cleaned up the floating bits on them with Electrolysis as there is no seals etc in them, so i can paint, can i put the other bits in ? with the rams seals etc, without doing...
One of my helmets is a murex multiweld 9-13, it has been a good helmet, had alot of use.
I have been told by our supplier that it is obsolete and cant get glasses for it.
I cant find them anywhere. I think that is bad for a top price helmet (at the time) to not be able to get parts for. :mad...
What about a metal cap with a hinge on it poss fixed with the bottom 2 bolts ? its own weight would hold it in place.
Hard to see if it would work without the item in hand.

Intresting read. I will be having a bash at making a kindling splitter soon for splitting 2x2 3x2 3x3 etc.
Have seen a blade design that i like on utube just need to scale it down.
I think my mig is min 25 amps, but i allways run it quite abit higher than that.
You run the risk of burn through, which does happen but you get a good weld, there is a bit of a knack to it.
Not sure need somthing that strong to hold what you are going to put on it. We put a ton of catalogues on a unit and it did not fail, and that was not screwed to the wall, which makes them alot stronger again.
It is surprising how much some of the bought units hold.
