Well spotted. I didn't notice this. This is what the paint shop gave me. It's seemed to be tacky within 10 mins as per data sheet so hopefully all is well in the morning too.
Ok, used a 1.4 tip, no thinners. Was actually quite close to the thickness I would have liked it. Went on ok and quite a good finish. Couple of runs on one panel but that's more down to my inexperience with my new gun/ bad lighting / being a novice.

Ok, before lock down I thought I got stocked up on everything I needed. Turns out I forgot to buy thinners. But do I need it? It doesn't mention it in the mixing guidelines in the data sheet below. GenRock 2K and hardener

Before I posted this I had only tried buffing the rusty marks away with the polish and gave up and posted on here. I then went out with the g3 and im pleased to say that the rusty marks have now gone. I did think about it being metal filings as i had been...

The wheels on my car have been powder coated and I would like to spray parts of them. Is it just a case of prepping as usual and then paint over with even basic alloy wheel silver paint or are there any types of paint to avoid using due to reactions or bad adhesion with the powder coat etc?
