Sorry to have stated the obvious, I forget not everyone is as dim as me!
When I was trying to source an auxiliary tank for my 80 Series Landcruiser, I looked everywhere. Found loads in Australia that were in good condition despite the age. Having a fuel tank certified as fuel free and shipping...
Plan to get one of these eventually, and there are a couple of Quorn grinders on a well known auction site. Not planning on buying either myself, but are they real worth that sort of money?!
I've recently bought BT'S Whole Home WiFi mesh system. I've real problems with our stone walls and this has solved that. My shed is about 100m away and if I place one of the whole home discs in the window, I get a usable signal down at the shed. I plan to try and marry up a cantenna to an old...
I'd never bought anything but cheap cordless drills until I bought an 18v Milwaukee drill/driver from Toolstation. They are superb bits of kit. I've since bought another drill, impact driver and angle grinder in the US. The grinder chews through batteries but is dead handy.
The Z was available in right hand drive and it was sold in the UK. It sold very well in the States, not so well here. It was also a superb rally car making it's mark in the East African Safari, when it was the toughest on the circuit.
Watched this for first time last night. They bought an early old shape Datsun 280Z and in my opinion ruined it. Quite sad really as the 240/260/280Z are very collectable these days. Nissan had some 240Z's rebuilt for the launch of the Z car in the US.
I bought the twin pack Halford's industrial deal. Several months ago the middle box was on offer, so I thought I'd buy that too. Now I don't consider myself the thickest mammal that crawled out of the swamp, but I do sometimes question that thought. I'm too short to see into the top box now!
Many Chinese tablets are dual Android / Windows boot. Although not having the build standard of the top brands, some have good reviews and are cheap. Í'd be surprised if some couldn't run Cisco. The TechTablets.com site has some good reviews. Nothing to do with me by the way, but I'm on the...
I hankered after a Discovery for years, but the more I researched, the more wary I became. I eventually settled on an 80 Series Landcruiser, based on my first hand experience with a Landcruiser pickup when I worked in the desert in the UAE & Oman. I've driven a Discovery, but never towed with...
We have 6 cats insured through Tesco. Five of them are as fit as fiddles, but over the past two years they've paid out over
£ 5000 on two elderly rescue cats that needed a lot of care as they approached their final days. The only thing they have ever questioned was my signature as the policies...
I once put a pair of Corrina uprights in a brand new Bosch dishwasher. The lady of the house was away at the time. Trouble was, I hadn't factored in the left over grit from the sand blasting! It took me hours to get the trays running smooth again. Nice clean uprights though. ☺
I was once told by a brake down rescue that the camera's are not interlinked. Change lane as soon as you pass a camera and an average speed cannot be computed. I have never put it to the test!
