Just a case of mixing in a big rubber bucket with paddle mixer till creamy.
Pour on at the high point & spread with a spikey roller till you fill all the divets.
Apparently eBay doesn't count you can buy 20l drums & IBC's. Nearly 1500 listings.
Will be just the same as iso paint & clearcoat, "honest I'm painting a tractor"
I would say genuine users are ok for now.
+1 on the cheap 25l poly floor paints.
my last garage had some pitting in the concrete from a shower when new builder never covered it.
rollered on....probably to think TBH, but some of the pitted bits never dried in 4 years & generally discolored terribly.
I have 3 packs of this waiting to...
Expansion joints are cut in as soon as possible after pour. They ae designed not for movement but to force the slab to crack where you want it to & not just anywhere.
The joints are then filled with mastic or epoxy.
Proper expansion joints are the fibrous boards laid vertical around the room or...
Remove the plastic tube it is flexing & deforming causing subsidence. Replace with concrete sectional tube.
Or cast the plastic tube you have in concrete.
If you want to be good for 40 ton truck.
Dig out 200mm.
Put in 100mm hardcore & compact with 1 drum roller.
Put in next 100mm & compact.
Then 100mm c35 minimum
Pour c35 grade reinforced with a393 mesh in bottom 25-35mm lifted with spacer blocks.
Mesh should be over lapped minimum 100mm & wire...
A decent paint roller works fine, but the leveling compound prob wouldn't be suitable for a drive, re pour 4" concrete on top with expansion joints every 6m.
Get the fibre reinforced grade for good measure.
Same stuff you pictured, but I used on a c35 grade concrete.
For a bathroom I would do the SBR + cement & level method. If tiling scour any latence off & prime again with something like mapie primer then tile.
I would always keep an eye wash station in the garage.
Sterile water with patches, when time can be of the essence.
Tap water can cause it's its own infections.
The concrete hardener is worth a try first
3 5l cans for a double garage & it's cheap on Amazon.
It can take 2 days & 2 coats to apply properly.
Pour it on, brush it around & walk away.
SBR mixed with pure cement & rollered on. To seal & create waterproof bonding layer.
Then a few bags of self leveling compound to smooth off.
Dry, scour then paint with epoxy.
Hi All
I have been registered for 10 years, but only just got back on the site after a long absence.
Any members local to Ayr who enjoy tinkering with all things made of metal??
Thanks Martin
