I like a nice spinach and paneer korma sometimes. Very quick and easy if you use an off-the-shelf Korma paste like the pataks or asda own-brand one.
Ingredients:
Diced onions
Korma paste
Paneer - one average-sized block makes enough for 2 people - sorry I'm not very good with quantities :D...
I was reading something about this yesterday and apparently the problem with spinning space stations is that centrifugal force is still a thing in space and you're introducing a load of forces that would require much heavier construction than the current crop of space stations.
Can you definitely not adjust it at all? The cars I've worked on you usually undo a locknut and then rotate the actual master cylinder rod itself to the required amount of play.
Obviously if it's adjusted too far out it will be hard to get into gear as it won't release fully, too far in and it...
I saw that plasma cutter too the other day... I nearly did, but as per my other thread I'm looking to buy a compressor soon anyway so no point getting one with integrated compressor when I can spend less and get one off fleabay/amazon that uses external air.
Would be interesting to see if it's...
Hi all
So I'm looking for a compressor as I'm wanting to do a leak down test on one of my cars and all the gauges I've found want an external air supply.
I've seen these small cheap compressors on amazon that say they are for airbrushing, will stuff like this be any good for this sort of...
I bought the little parkside inverter welder the other month and it's actually really good for a cheap fluxcore set. Does have a design flaw where the spool holder keeps falling off though, it's already been open twice and isn't even out of warranty yet (though it probably is now) :D i've done...
The mrs works at Broughton which is J32, glad they start after 32 as that sounds like a nightmare!
Mind you, they had a 50mph limit on just one side of the M65 for months, no workers in sight. They eventually removed it.
I was chatting with an RAC man a while back (he was towing my broken car...
Seems the platemaker screwing up is more common than most think - my colleauge had a Mazda 3 that had different front plates to rear for about 2 years until it was noticed!
The rear one was the correct one.
Oh - that's a shame - advantage of driving older stuff as on my car it was just a case of moving a jumper link inside the ECU to stop it talking to the autobox.
Still might be cheaper than replacing the van outright or replacing/repairing the autobox.
Could you perhaps manual swap it? Or does it need to be auto for some reason?
Bet manual boxes for the traffic are ten a penny and i imagine all the other stuff would bolt up (might have to drill the firewall to fit the clutch pedal if there isn't the hole there)?
Be careful about this on French cars. Once accidentally disconnected the battery on my partner's Berlingo and the engine wouldn't start for an hour. I assume i didn't follow the correct shutdown procedure and the immobiliser got confused or something. Eventually tried the other key and that must...
I use f360 too, found it surprisingly easy to get used to.
Blender is a lot more of a steep learning curve (although it is more powerful too) as it isn't really designed for solid modelling. I've done some blender work for my game project and honestly I hate it.
Didn't think of making one but it would be possible, but I need something that would switch to trickle charging. I suspect it would be fairly simple, maybe just make a current limiting circuit with a voltage cutoff?
Chunkolini - As above, I'd need to know the specs of the fridge to advise.
Inlaws live in a DAF 45 which I wired, I think the fridge draws a couple of amps with the compressor running but has higher inrush current on startup.
You'd need to know the approximate duty cycle and how much current...
As a bit of a side hustle I do a bit of off-grid/RV electrics, trucks, vans, boats, that sorta thing.
Most recent system I did was a static system at a campsite, it runs off a 48v battery bank.
Obviously we're in summer right now and the panels are keeping up just fine but I've promised them...
Truer words were never spoken - you can have all the help and support in the world but you still have to want to stop.
I've struggled too with addiction but my drug of choice was heroin, which sounds awful (and it wasn't great) but the upside, if you can call it that, is that drugs exist to...
And now I also want to know what on earth that could possibly do in the context of a (quite simple) electric locomotive.:D
Could it be something to do with the speed of tap changer operation? I'm not sure if the GG1 used a motorized tap changer or if the power controller operated it directly...
