As others have said, an impulse mag would be the only real way to go without having some sort of charging system too

Mate runs a series 3 with a 200 tdi in it and the box is fine. Obviously if you drive like a deranged baboon then it’s not going to last too long
The series drivetrain will actually take the power of a tdi quite capably, plus you can run 3.54 diffs and have a bit extra cruising speed
