Ooo, now, that Gazelle, I had a two tone with chrome embellishments down the side, demolision derbied it to destruction, it went and went. Didn't win though. One of the funniest things I've ever done - singer gazelle, rover 2.2sc, cortina Mk1, Renault 6 I think?, there must have been others...
I had a mk1 Vauxhall cavalier that I recovered from an off road excursion, bought it off direct line insurance.
Anyway, this thing, even after I'd replaced the bent front subframe vibrated, through the whole car. Had all wheels balanced numerous times. Then I saw it - one of the tyres had been...
I've been to Poland - everything's amazingly cheap, but I couldn't get away from the constant feeling I was being cheated....
Edit to add, it's just another axle being carried around - the difference is in this country the law allows it.

And I disagree, even If you have a vin, but can't convince that dopey lot at Swansea what year...
I took a pic of both side by side on the back of the trike. Eventually managed to wrestle the givi wind deflector into place and fit the new speedo. Greased cable, oiled the bush on the input of the speedo, now quiet, smooth and, because there are less numbers, easier to read. I,can't see me...
Just called my mot man. No worries, they enter the number from the clock as read. I should take a digital pic of both at changeover to pass on to the next owner, maybe... Given the mot holds this data I doubt it's much of a worry.
Depends on the size of the oven and how well it's insulated I guess. Starting and stopping will increase the level of contaminants I would say. I really would build a stainless drum, with the burner in the middle, into a chimney, with an outer jacket, and a blower picking up that heat and...
