I passed my test in February’67, & I could by 4 gallons for a pound at the local Jet station, I think I got 4 pence change as well. When Embassy cigarettes came out they were 1/11d for ten if I remember correctly, this would be about 1963 or 4, not that I bought them or smoked them as I was too...
1989 Mazda Eunos, my wife thinks it’s hers. Is it a classic, I suppose so at 32 years old, but there is still a lot of them about. We‘ve had it about 14 years.
Friends of my in-laws was a director of a company & ran a Daimler Double 6, the Vanden Plas thing with the extended chassis. They took my in-laws over to Germany on a sales trip (holiday) pulled into a German filling station & put about 20 gallons of petrol in, then asked the attendant to fill...
My mate found an easier way, he had on old blue 1390 Minx, the body fell apart, but it had test on. He was offered another in black with little or no test but reasonable in the body. Swap number plates & job done, he ran it for several years & never got questioned, although he did get asked by...

I’ve had 100k knocked off one time as they didn’t enter last figure, went back on next time without causing a problem. It was entered on the system & shows on the MOT history ok.
Lidl or Aldi, not sure which, Lidl I think, have caravan cleaner in the centre aisle at the moment. A black streak remover, that might be the thing to use, it certainly won’t damage anything
The farmers would be in the middle of Paris setting fire to the tractors in protest while the gendarmes watch. The government would then back down & everything would be back to normal!
I was driving back from Cirencester today & I spotted a truck with an Ever Green shipping container on it, so perhaps it had Big Egg’s bits on.
