hi all I have got my self a murex transtig ac/dc 200.. problem is all it comes with is power lead and earth clamp. Also it’s a 3 phase. Is it possible to convert to household power or it’s there a converter out there... or should I sell it and buy a different machine as it’s a great big heavy...

Spent 3 years doing mechanics as loved working on cars. It’s probably the worst paid trade out there.

Real sad. My grandad was a driver, can remember when it was top money. My wife did 3 years collage for childcare and is on minimum wage after 8 years in the job. No wonder people don’t give a **Language** anymore

I know what your saying, just spotted a few pipe jobs for 250+ a day... like anything the more skilled ect you are the more spesialst jobs you can do the more pay. It’s just weird thinking a welder who can weld can get as much as a shelf stacker..... BUT thinking about it you wouldn’t pay top...

Exactly, it’s beyond me you can spend years learning and working for a skill / trade and yet (no disrespect to anyone) people who can’t be arsed to learn a trade, people with no GO no enthusiasm ect can get paid 12.50+ for stacking shelf’s at Tesco ect

First tool repair. Had to drill out the 30mm pin as was stuck tight. This is so I could get to the repair for welding. The pics after are a 3M speedglass selfie lol with air feed. Then the welds, I did 3 passes to build up the material. Then it was a lot of grinding and about an hour and a half...
