Thanks everyone. I ordered the battery and tool kit from iphonefixuk. It 'felt' like less of a chance than a random amazon or ebay purchase and maybe less chance of coming from the chinese junk pile (maybe the slightly less junk chinese pile instead!)

Has anyone replaced their own battery on their iphone? If so, what make of battery did you buy? (Link if possible!) I need one for an iphone7.

I go up and down on the idea. I am not really sure why! Might be the best time to lay it as the room will be empty, then could go vinyl click lock if i ever have to replace it.

Sorry - I meant to update this at the weekend and then forgot. The electrician says that we need a new RCD on the board that the hob is connected to. Everything is pointing to the hob front right ring being part of the fault as well though as the RCD blew the other day when the other half went...

I get the acetic acid thing but once cured that doesnt continue. After running some water through the pipe it should all be gone?

A friend of mine has used this around the joins on the pipework to a new set of taps https://www.sentinelprotects.com/uk/products/sentinel-seal-x it says its not for use on drinking water systems though. Once its cured, why wont it be safe? He only read that after using it.

When my aunt had that problem she just jammed the wires of whatever extra appliances she wanted to use into the socket and then slammed a plug from something else in on top to make sure the connection was good!

They both have their merits. I hve a 200tdi in the 110, a TD5 in the D2 and the v6 in the D3 Did you use genuine injector seals when you changed them (both seals)? Were the seats on the head clean? You have already mentioned the ait bleed valve in the filter head but what state is the filter...

OEM doesnt mean much these days either unless you know the true OEM - often an item will end up classed OEM because the company make something else for LR. A lot of OEM companies have been bought out and the name is still used but the parts now made in China and nowhere near the quality of the...
