Parweld received the unit back, and apparently couldn’t find anything wrong with it. But, they’ve replaced it so a new machine should arrive soon.
Had to use the ESAB which was sat next to it for the job, which performed without fault, and has had a lot more hammer than the Parweld.
I’ll just leave this here;
Purchased in 08/2020, from Tom @ Welding Supplies Direct, and can’t fault his service. Used mainly on Stainless MIG up until recently, it’s had around 35kg of wire through it. Hadn’t got around to trying the TIG functions out.
But, it’s just gone back to Parweld to...
Ground blade? I give mine a quick tickle with a grinder sometimes, if it starts to snag.
Should really look at sending them to NS Tooling, I think he said £10 to sharpen it properly, if it needs any extra work or special finishes it’ll be extra
Still lathe-less at this end due to one thing or another, generally the wife and the list of jobs!
Looking to get a few jobs/parts made up to repair a couple of bits of kit.
Just need to measure the shaft diameter through the centre and the 2no fixing holes, although as long as they’re spot...
Covert install in the Vito.
Ran out of time this weekend, but all there is left to do is connect the inlet and exhaust for combustion, connect to the battery and prime the diesel line.
Should be out of harms way under the seat.
Full story, bought a few replacement parts from a company in Wakefield I think it was.
Arrived Monday, and asked the wife to check the contents of the parcels.
Seat rails and all those other parts, was the answer. Did she check the contents of the box that arrived? No!!
Fast forward to today...
Putting some additional seat rails in the back of the van, mainly to fill holes in the flooring, but also to put the extra 2 seats in when needed.
Fixings are these;
M10, probably 30mm thread length.
I don’t really fancy getting hold of Mercedes for 8 of them, they’ll probably end up being...
Magnetic ring?!? Ummm, I call cow pats on that. You can fill 10ltr drums from the pumps if you’re that way inclined.
I also doubt that it’s cheaper, as it all comes out of the same tank. If it were, you’d never get on the pumps for all the cars queuing up.
You’re lucky to be getting 10000...
The wife wouldn’t agree with that! :doh:
As everyone has said above, they’re a good, no, excellent company to purchase from. Any issues I’ve had with kit has been sorted straight away.
Plenty of stock on the shelf, next day delivery if you twist their arm enough, even the girls in the office...
Santa would like to put forward a formal apology.
If you have received incorrect gifts, I can only apologise, due to a miscommunication the children at Cavill Towers inadvertently left out half a pint glass of Sambucca to warm him up on a cold and snowy Christmas Eve.
Had a quick look at their website, they all seem to keep pricing hidden which is a bit of a pain, but I’ll fire an email over to them for details and pricing.
Looking like the SwiftCut Pro2500 with the Hypertherm 45XP is the unit that will fit the space.
That was for the ProCut...
The Hypertherm 45XP is looking like the unit to go for, thanks for the input on that one chaps :thumbup:
Just had a quote back from Escco, a gnats cock short of £19k plus the VAT, and that’s only classed as “Rental”, there’s another payment “Option to Purchase” of £90 plus the VAT.
