Yes i was looking on Facebook and saw a company using a marathon pac with jib wire feed. I'd just like to know where to get the wire feed unit from and what they are called. Can they hook upto any powersource?

Yes i get that im just wondering if it works when you press the inching button (the button inside near the wire drive that feeds wire without gas) i ask because I had the exact same with my migatronic awhile back cost me £300 to get it sorted. Needed a new pcb.

I have a tecarc 300 single phase with 15m remote wire feed, its a beaten up machine but it keeps going. I dont think an inverter machine would hack the abuse its been through, nice machine with smooth delivery. Just a side note if you get one with seperate wire feed dont get the cables to long...

I'm on the look out for a wire feeder that can hook up to any power source and be mounted on a jib, im sure ive seen these before. The wire was mounted at the base of the jib and the wire feeder was at the end looked a great set up for what u do. Does anyone know who make these?

I never noticed it until I had a hired in mig but my migatronic won't run 1mm wire below 25v but I'm sure the jasic i had on hire would run it at about 22v is this a big deal? My migatronic puts down alot nicer bead with far less spatter.
