A new gib, if the old one is worn, an oversize - but you'd probably have to make it, or shim it.
I shimmed a Hartford (Taiwanese Bridgeport) on x & y, quite tricky due to the oil ways.
Letter arrived this morning, went online straight away, booked for tomorrow morning and booked 2nd jab at the same time.
And I'm at the major jab centre locally where as SWMBO had to go about 15 miles away.
Recently I've missed out on a couple of welding tables.
So I've decided to make my own.
As it will be roughly 1.5M x 1M is there any advantage in using 10mm sheet as against the usual 6mm ?
Do I make one with a solid sheet or is there any advantage in have loads of holes ?
Anything else I should...
Tim is a tosser.
Mind you if you want real fun then selling your house can be a real pain.
In 2017 we lost 3 buyers who had a mortgage in principle offer, but when due diligence was done by the building society, it went no further for different reasons - including a church pastor who knowingly...
An EICR is only as good as the sparks who does it and will only give an indication of the state of the wiring. By this I mean how thorough is the inspection (I've had a sparks supposedly inspect and test the kitchen fitters work, without doing ANY inspection, only testing), neither you or the...
It should be 4 wires (3P + N), can also be a single 3 phase cable.
Coming along the main road it's 4 cables then into a single 3 phase cable. If you need photo's give me a shout.
Are you sure you only have single phase to meter cabinet?
Yes, but under the right circumstances as little as 9 volts can kill.
Anyway I survived the little belt I got 2 months ago - forgot that the 2 gang light switch was on 2 separate circuits, the circuit I was checking (all earth wires intact and connected) was isolated but the garage light...
Who is the manufacturer ?
I wasn't aware that anybody was manufacturing 3 phase smart meters - it would be a very very small percentage of domestic users that have 3 phase.
I'm just about to change the last of 45 back boxes (not deep enough for new flat plate switches & sockets), only to find the kitchen fitters 2 years ago have butchered the cpc wires in one of the light switches.
To make matters worse they soldered extra length to the existing wires (and sleeved...
How does one go about arranging for a courier to collect from a third party, for delivery to you ?
Normally I would just take the trailer and collect, but it's 130 miles (straight line distance, not road miles). What with the Covid 19 restrictions and I'd need to put 2 new tyres on the car (one...
