They are quite noisy when running outside your shop all day though...I imaging as long as its not to wet or clay based it might work for a while.
They are replacing lots of gas mains around this way at the moment. They have a bigger more industrial version, suction pipe about 200mm and what looks like a few high pressure air and water jets. Goes through the ground nice and quick saves lots of hand digging around existing utilities.
Same here - I live in an old quarry so ground is full of rocks !I imagine that would go about an inch where we live before it hit a rock and stopped
that's crap what someone needs to make is something that can core out a rotten post in existing concrete without having to remove the old concrete and have to fill with new
that's really what u need in your back garden to replace 6 posts from the ridiculous to the extreme just get a spit a pick and a 3 foot steel wreking barThis is what you need. Not a very good pic but it makes holes in stoney ground, knocks the posts in, carries all the kit etc
