Hi guys, I'm new to this forum lark - hopefully someone out there will be able to steer me in the right direction. I've just started a landrover project and as you might imagine there's a bit of welding to be done. My mate has a workshop he inheritted, containing a Kemppi RA 325 welder among other things. This morning we fired up the Kemppi, which hasn't been used in anger for many years. It was going great until suddenly it went bang and burst into flames with an acrid plastic smell. On inspection one of the 3 transformer units has burnt out. Anyone know where best to source a replacement ? The machine is decades old!
Anyway...also in the workshop is a smaller Kemppi 181 so we thought we'd see if we could get this working. Sadly the Trigger Switch Relay appears to be defective - my mate's dad had just stuck a slivver of wood into the front of it which means it's constantly on - don't think thats a good idea! Again anyone know a good source for parts? Would be most grateful for any ideas. Regards, Deepete
