so the lorry taps them and they then snap off and get tangled under the wheels while the driver carrys on unaware ?
I'd install the bolts as normal and then drill the head down into the thread level.
Why bother, who cares about damage to wagons driven by those who can't avoid street furniture? If the bollards snap off that easily the driver won't notice anyway and will carry on into the fence.
I did think the same....M10 should ping easily.I don't think M10's would offer much resistance against a wagon anyway?
You could stick them in a lathe and take a bit off the shank to weaken them?
Or use grade 4.6?
Weld a nut on...
How do you replace them if they are snapped and concreted in?
