I have a 1960's Fordson Dexta, partially restored, but i need to move it (Moving house) so the tyres need sorting so i can roll it out of the garage and hiab it onto a wagon.
I have bought new rear tyres. The existing rear tyres are still on the rims. I'm not sure if i need to buy inner tubes? The rims are in fair nick, but not the best as they are the originals.
I have not yet bought the front tyres but certainly the ones i took off did not have inner tubes in. Again the rims are not 100% so am i better getting inner tubes for the fronts as well?
I'm looking to change these myself with the aid of a couple of big polish lads we have to lend some muscle to break the beads etc. I'm not sure how you go on with the valves if there's no inner tube.....
Anyone hazard a guess as to the size of the inner tubes?... @brewdexta ??
