Not M&W, but I've just picked up a couple of Etalon branded micrometers off eBay.
I already had a 0-1" etalon micrometer, and it's by far the nicest micrometer I have feel-wise (compared to a couple of M&W and a starrett), so when I spotted the 2-3 and 3-4 for auction I had to have them
They looked quite rough, but I've tested them with a set of slip gauges, and they measure consistently across their ranges down to 0.0001", which I find quite impressive for something that is probably 30 years old at least.
All in all, I've spent 25 quid on the etalon micrometers, and for the price I'm very happy with them.
