So here's an interesting one for you all
We have had a hot tub for about 15 years but it has developed a crack on the middle of the front edge, which is gradually spreading inwards.
From what i can see the hottub is built on a timber frame and it looks like this frame is rotting at the bottom - which I reckon is causing the tub to sag and hence the crack.
So I want to see if I can replace the timber frame and to do this I need to tip the tub on its side.
Now these are pretty heavy but i have seen pro's use these airbags http://airquee.co.uk/commercial-products/hot-tub-lifting-wedge-aq3285 Seams a lot easier than trying to build a gantry etc. This is the only supplier I can find and they are expensive for a 1 off job.
Anyone know of anywhere else that does airbags for lifting purposes or anywhere you can hire them?
I will also take any other bright ideas on lifting or general hottub frame repair thoughts
Cheers,
MM
