And that despite how undersized the wheels look. From the photo it looks to me as if you put something on it like a big box or a bale it would foul the wheels.
Yeah I got mixed up with who I agreed withI don't think its been used for tyres look at the paint wear pattern worn at front of prongs then next to the uprights looks like those prongs slotted into something
Shifting propane gas bottles, the prongs go through the holes in the base to stop bottle coming off.I acquired this today, a sack truck with steel prongs, it looks like its designed for a special purpose, what is it ?
It will get pimped into a proper sack barrow anyway. Just wondered.
maybe, but if I'd have made it for that, it would have been taller coz on a 47 you would trap your fingers, coz if it is made from a silo ladder it only looks to be max 38-40" tall.Shifting propane gas bottles, the prongs go through the holes in the base to stop bottle coming off.
Yes norm I totally agree with you, you are being single mindedmaybe, but if I'd have made it for that, it would have been taller coz on a 47 you would trap your fingers, coz if it is made from a silo ladder it only looks to be max 38-40" tall.
also the paint is not damaged on the centre of the rungs,
the marks at the inner part are where the bearings went at the end of the tubes used as rollers to facilitate turning the wheel to line up the studs
I made one very similar for doing that job, made fitting suppersingles so much easier, not that I'm being single minded------- I'm open to any ideas that agree with me
