ive used combi squares a few times and i have another type that i do use comes in handy due to the long blade
ive been known to grab the wood saw and use the 90 degree and the 45 degree on
them
The b&q and stanley squares i wouldnt use to stir a tin of redox, but i think the bahco ones are reasonable value for money for rougher stuff.my heart doesnt stop if they take a tumble, like the mitutoyoThe difference between a £9.99 B&Q/Stanley/Bahco one is night and day compared to a £120 one. The £9.99 is not likely to last the shift without getting damaged, or the markings rubbed off after a fortnight..

Nice render!I saw the square in use on the welding tips and tricks channel , looks a good handy tool to have around the shop , BUT ! an Aluminium body , why cheap out ? For me I would have much prefered a to see cast Iron /steel body to stand up to general every day shop use .
So I have been working on my own design , Steel body and a good stiff blade lol
