Evening everyone
After a while mig welding I'm looking at learning to tig as Ive got a few automotive projects including making a manifold which ideally needs to be tig welded.
I've got a budget of probably around 400-500 though the cheaper the better and only really expect to get a dc for this money even though ac would be very very useful.
My other consideration is due to the poor power supply to my workshop It has to run on a generator, I've got a 6.5kva stephill that seems to run my gys smartmig 160 pretty nicely
Ive been looking at the rtech tig160 as it's got hf, pulse and option of using a pedal but was wondering what people's experiences were and what other options were about?
Thanks
