It's listed as a 3 phase machine, which it is but it only uses two of the three phases. The description says "This will not work on 240volt household supply", which is not the case. I have the exact same machine and I run it off a 3 pin plug - there's a jumper block on the inside where you can select 240v as the input voltage. The output is reduced by 50% but if you were looking for a cheap introduction into AC/DC tig welding for could do a lot worse than a bomb-proof transformer set for £250.
