A friend of mine who helps me with a lot and vice versa asked if i would help strip his landrover and rebuild it. He did say before we even started it would need a new rear floor panel for definite, as he had used it in the past for some off roading.
So yesterday we got it up to his lock up and started to strip it down
Now the bad part
On just opening the boot/tailgate/rear door and seeing this, I 'Thought' I knew what was to come
But no its worse much worse
This is what remains of an old rear piece that was riveted in several years ago to cover the hole u see in the above pics
And if we had been able to get the rear seat belt mounts out im 100% positive we could have pulled the floor out with out having to use a single cutting disc
We finished off removing the rest of the seats and carpets just the sound deadening left at the drivers and passangers footwells left to pull out next time were back over.
I have a feeling this might be a long project ;-P
