Hi all,
I've just made the switch from rent free to BOC for my welding gas as it works out a bit cheaper and a lot more convenient to collect. I was after argoshield light which says its good for 0-4mm steel, which I'm never likely to exceed as I've only got a 150A mig! They only had arghoshield universal which is meant for 4-10mm steel, but says it can be used on thinner stuff with care, the guy at BOC told me it would be fine.
My question is what difference if any will it make to me for welding my swiss cheese landrover chassis? I've now got a Y size bottle of universal, but haven't broken the seal so could potentially swap it if you tell me that its no good for what I need it for.
Cheers,
Robbie
Edit - I've just noticed that there's a shielding gas section that I should have put this in - mods, can you move it?
