At least it was a one off. I've a mate who uses "pot rivets" and tells me he's just "brought" a new x, y or z from a shop - he gives me an odd look when I ask him if he had to pay for it.

I've used a Clarke air powered punch/joggler combination and was thinking at the time that I need to buy my own. The law of sod dictates that I won't buy one when I've next got a VAT free voucher for Machinemart or if I see one cheap because I don't need one often enough but a week later I'll need one again and have to pay full price somewhere.

And the spell check doesn't point it out as wrong.
A guy in my class at college once submitted an assignment in which he stated that he had tested his circuit through a frequency rage. Not sure he ever lived that one down.
