Hi, I'm looking for advice regarding Scotchbright pads and wonder if anyone can shed some light for me.
I'm just about to colour sand a whole car and went to buy silicon carbide paper (wet and dry)and was amazed at the price, it seemed cheep years ago but prices seem to have rocketed. Could I use Scotchbright pads instead? much cheaper, if so how do you tell how abrasive they are as they are marketed as course , medium , and fine.
Many thanks
