i made this a few months ago. it was the first thing ive made since i got my tig. i thought instead of wasting materials, consumables just welding pieces together i would just bash on and make something.
i converted the civic from a 1.5 auto to a 1.8 twin cam vtec manual with lsd box. the old system was only 1.75" so it was really holding it back after 5k rpm.

heres a few pics
6m of 2.5" 316
a universal back box
the centre pipe
making the bends to go over the rear lower arm, this took the longest part as this is the first bit of fabricating ive done with pipe work ect so it took me along time to get nice cuts so everything all fit together nicely with minimal gaps.
im sure with more practise at cutting the pipe i could have made the bends with less cuts. but it was all good practise, as i got further through it i could definitely see the welds improving. i think i warped the v band a little that connects the back box to the centre pipe as it does leak so i will have to sort that at some point.
