Hey Guys!
Been a while,... I finally found some time to step back into my warzone I call a garage.. Its pretty messy with pieces of metal all over.
Sooo... it seems like its game over for that metal cabinet. The sheet metal is either low quality or too thin... easily gets blown through with a 80A mig welder.
any suggestions what else I can try to weld it back together?
For some reason all my welds are super contaminated. Im not using shielding gas at the moment but I thought the flux was supposed to help.
1) Blow through... - Currently using Low Low... the lowest of the settings and 0.35 flux core...
What else can I do to prevent blowing through the thin sheet metals?
2) contaminated welds... Seems all the welds are dirty as heck. perhaps if i sand blasted them after they may look pretty but un touched they look pretty black.
