I have been trying to decide on a replacement for my stolen SIP130. For a variety of reasons i need to go gasless and was almost sold on a Butters but then had second thoughts. Has anyone any experience with or views on either of the above Kemmpi models?
Kemmpi very good machines, will knock spots of the sip, Might be worth holding on a couple of months I was told by the manager of our local BOC that they are going to become kemmpi main agents and are going to put some tasty deals on them for the launch.
I don't weld without gas, but I can tell you this:
I bought the MinarcMig Adaptive 180. Very nice machine, it welds very very smooth. The machine is easy to use, just set the thickness of the material you want to weld and go. It takes 5 kg wire reels. I highly recommend it. You can't compare this machine to a SIP.
The only doubt I had with this machine is about the absence of an euro connector. But you can order any part of the torch and the torch is a good one. It is much like the euro connector torches of Kemppi.
