Just before the current 'summer' started I had my bike licence suspended due to health issues.
So being a stubborn so and so I am cycling to work. I generally did two or three trips a week by pushbike anyway. but not in the rain or if not in the mood for it.
Now I am doing it everyday, about 10 miles each way. So far I have not been rained off once, did wait a couple of hours one day for a mega storm to pass. The aftermath was hilarious, white water biking on my tall bike through two feet of water past stranded motorists was a laugh.
Lately my feet are going a bit weird from the damp, getting like weird flaps of skin, also my hands like maybe I am growing fins. is this a bruise on my back or the beginnings of a dorsal fin?
Am I turning into Fish Boy (which comic was he in?). Perhaps I will get myself a motorpike.
Weirdest thing of all I have not got soaked to the skin for two days, I am worried about the weather, fluffy white things in the sky and all that horrible blue stuff. Quite bizarre.
The cycling does have it's advantages, gives me an hour and half a day to just think about things and stuff. I might even be in danger of writing a book about my mythical ancestor.
Chunko',
