I thought i would put a few pictures of a recent project; i made and sold a few but alas i couldn't compete with cheap mass produced units. Would love to hear your views, good or bad.
Very nice, clean lines and tidy...mass production is always going to win, they are probably paying at least 50% less for the material for a start, add bulk cutting and jigs, they can probably making one in less than an hour.
I was looking at a garden gate a neighbour bought, it was actually ok and powder coated, had cost him £34 delivered, I would not even switch the welder on for that.
The CR was a weekend toy, amazing fun. The trailer cost in the region of £250 all in. I was only able to sell for around £350 so it wasn't worth making many. They appealed to people who wanted to store the trailer in the garage since the ramps were removable.
