Hi, I'm looking for suggestions on the design/mounting of a very basic snow plough/blade for a Benford dumper truck
Ideally something that can quickly be fitted/removed and leave you able to still use it as a normal dumper on the non-snowy days
Here's some pics of the machine
With the bucket down there is about 6"-8" clearence to the ground
Apparently some form of plough was made by a previous employee but there is no evidence of it
There's various bits of scrap metal lying around (plenty of rusty corrogated iron). But it could easily be made from timber as there is a sawmill nearby
I was thinking you could bolt a lump of wood say 1ft wide, 6ft long, 40mm thick to the front of the bucket to make it touch the ground when you tip the bucket.
But the problem with this is you can't see much with the bucket tipped, and the areas to clear would mainly be long narrow tracks where you'd want to push the snow to the side rather than pile it up infront of you
Has anybody got any suggestions, hints, etc?
