Afternoon all,
I've got my hands on an electric DA sander, and I'm flatting some doors back to recoat in metallic black (same colour).
I've done 220 and 400 grit dry, but now that I've switched to 600-grit pads I'm getting massive clogging; after ten seconds I'm smearing a waxy coating over my freshly sanded surface, and it's doing my head in.
So, is 400 grit dry from a DA good enough to paint over, if I finish the edges with 600?
