I have a Rover Metro (!)
The car was given to me, and, much to everyone elses amusement, has been the most reliable car I have ever owned, which is impressive given the abuse it gets.
It is, however, rusting on the wheel arches. The floorpan is sound, as I repaired it last year for the MOT, and the sills arn't too bad, but one needs a repair.
Im planning on replacing the rusty wheel arch, has anyone done this on this vehicle before?
I also plan on modifying the stupid hydragas suspension so that bumps on the front wheels don't throw the rear ones in the air, but as yet im still in the process of hydragas pump procurment (see an earlier thread from me )
And before anyone says it, yes its worth fixing it 'cos its currently being a very cheap run around and doing nearly 1000 miles a week.
And I have a nearly new set of sticky tyres to wear out yet...
