hey all, not been around much lately, but i thought you guys might be interested, I've taken the plunge and got my self an ESAB caddy tig 2200I AC/DC TA34 only done a few welds so far having never used a tig before, and it is awesome! very pleased and I love tig welding every bit as nice as i thought it would be and some!
anyway any criticism/advice/feedback appreciated, but bare in mind this are my first tig welds and i don't have a foot pedal!
also any recommendations for types of tungsten? I've only used the one that came with it so far a Ceriated 2.4mm are lantanated as good as they say they are? 1.5 or 2%?
ahh almost for got to mention i've picked up a cylinder of Adams gas argon for it and it seems a fairly good deal if you're not using a whole lot of gas (no rental) but the cylinders are "only" 2000psi not the 3000 that boc use so not as much gas as it looks (by cylinder size) but still no rental!
thanks all, I'll report back how the welder performs more when i've had abit of time to use it.
