I did consider that but I don't think I'd ever get a nice straight join. Being as it's a bit arty I want to keep it looking nice and sharp.

How will that work?instead I'd have extended the leg up at an angle, splitting the difference in cut between the leg and your diagonal.

If you extend the leg up it still won't intersect with the angled angle

Look in the corner, is that your problem?
If so, it can't be done with 90° Angle
Andy, I am attempting to build pyramids out of angle iron. I understand the issue that Archie brought up in the first place. The pyramid I will build has a side surface angle of 51.5 degrees or thereabouts. Given that do you know how to calculate the angles of the angle iron at the top and bottom?
