Hello everyone. my other hobby is diving and our dive club have there own compresser. we all meet every wensday to fill bottles to 232 bar. we also take extra cylinders to the coast to decant. with whips that are made by several manufacturers for sale to the public here in this country. i have a twin set with a manifold
if i shut down the centre manifold i can breath only the air from one tank till its nearly empty and then i can decant 232 bar from the full tank into the empty one underwater whilst these tanks are straped to my back all above board and legil to do so in this country.again several manufacturers make the tanks and manifolds to do this now oxygen is more dangerous than argon co2 etc you could use use 2 nuts and connection pieces from your average argon reg. get a piece of brass square bar a foot long put a hole right throuth the middle put the opropriote threads in each end and put a bleed in the middle
to bleed of the excess between the two cylinders ive put a pic of a decant whip on ebay
