Hello dears.
Me and OH are in the process of selling her house but having accepted an offer (and had an offer accepted on a house we looked at ) we might have hit a snag.
OH bought the house just over three years ago and had quite a bit of work done inside including fitting a bog downstairs, central heating fitted, and the dining room/living room made into one big room. It turns out that the guy who did the work wasn't a registered builder, even though he's done a good job and there's been no known problems since. She admits to being somewhat naieve but as he came recommended, she was happy to leave him to it. As the sale is progressing, we've been asked for certs of compliance for the work which we obviously don't have.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Martyn.
