hello, recently been given an chunky old air cooled arc welder and wondered if anyone knew anything about it- heres some details from the nameplate:
Made by "Ferrous Products", London
175Amps continuous welding current.
Unfortunately, it didnt come with leads. I have a set off another old machine but the fittings on this new one are very different. There are 9 10mm ish sockets- one for earth and then 8 different voltage taps I guess. I think ill get some brass bar thats a snug fit in the sockets and terminate the cables with that. Anyone recommend/suggest anything different? Is there some kind of off the shelf connector for these?
Sorry, i know pictures would be helpful...will try and upload asap.
Cheers
matt
