Carrying on from here http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/hobbies-minor-scroll-saw.43022/
It's been sat in a corner for ten years since I got it off Freecycle.
It's a Hobbies Minor scroll saw, I can't find any information on the web and Hobbies themselves don't know anything about it, so it looks quite rare.
This is an indication of the state of it
The bearings were jammed with solidified grease and dirt, so I stripped the whole thing down, cleaned all the bearings out and lubricated them. The bearings are a bit slack but I couldn't locate replacements so they went back. They're 1/2 bore x 1-1/8 OD x 1/4 wide.
This pulley can be moved in the frame to tension the blade.
The frame was cleaned at the same time. I didn't repaint it as I don't have the correct colour and something this age needs to be restored sympathetically.
