Hi,
I've sort of narrowed myself down to these 3 lifts. I want something that will fit in my garage (5m x 3.3m with an eve height of 2.1m) and something I can either drive over or store up against a wall. I will be wanting to do all sorts of jobs from mechanical suspension work to welding. One of my cars needs its jacking points welding and I've come to the conclusion none of the options below are any good but plan to use wheel stands to get the clearence.
Option 1 - Mobile tilting scissor lift
Pros - Cheapest, can get all 4 wheels up if I use jack stands one end. Could be positioned so I could get at front jacking points.
Cons - looks like it will balance on the pinch welds on my sills and don't want to crush them. The other options below have rubber blocks for factory lifting points.

Option 2 - Quickjacks
Pros - has rubber blocks for pinch weld lift points, seem to take less storage space.
Cons - no good for sill work so would need to be used with wheel stands to get clearance. Bit of faff to set up? Can't drive over. Does it really off that much benefit over Option 1?

Option 3 - Garage Scissor Lift
Pros - can drive over, easy to set up. Seems the most robust and flexible on where to place the rubber blocks for the jacking points.
Cons - expensive (I could buy option 1 and an air compressor etc). I don't think I could get at the sills or even use wheel stands to get the clearance.

What else am I missing? They all seem to do something well. Option 3 seems a lot more expensive for not a lot of gain on the face of it i.e. if i wanted to use wheel stands I'd need to use something else (a jack) and probably not be able to use my garage as the scissor lift will be in the way. Option 2 seems to be the most flexible?
