Recently undertook quite the big spraying project, for the first coat i used my trusty old 3M half mask with the A2 filters fitted, the mask itself worked well but since i also had to spray overhead my eyes got irritated.
For the second coat a couple of days later I invested in a sundstrom fullface mask with P3 filter, advertised on the site as the correct filter for spray painting. However I could smell the paint fumes and my eyes got irritated even with the full face mask, leading me to believe that the P3 filter is not the correct one for spray painting.
On to my question, which filter is the correct one for spray painting 2K paints? I've googled a bit but get lost in PPM and other things I don't fully understand.
First coat, painting like an idiot no protection besides the 3M halfmask.
Ready for the second coat thinking I'm more properly equipped this time, turns out i was not
