In my experience these prizes often find their way to valued customers.....a very ideal coincidence....that's quite a cool marketing promotion. I'm in
Love the vintage colour scheme and logo.
I imagine even though it's by ballot, they'll be hoping to see some promotion on a few prolific FB/instagram profiles.
Winning it means you get to borrow it for a week.
12 people borrow it for a week each and one of those 12 get to keep itWinning it means you get to borrow it for a week.
At the last place we used to have prize draws for big sporting events.
They were always “won” by the bigger spending clients
My mother won a VIP British F1 day out in a company Xmas Draw, but wasn’t interested in going. She wasn’t allowed to pass on the tickets to anyone outside the company (fair enough I guess), so ended up swapping it for a haircut voucher
thats goodwell, they must be short of entrants... since they've given me the opportunity to be included on this tour nice! I never win anything!
There's a contract to sign first, not sure what it will entail, but I can't imagine it will be much.
They're stepping up their social media game recently, you can see them ramping up instagram presence. I'll have to practice my stick welding skillz #4thegram

Not short of entrants. I think someone tipped them off that if they sent it to me it would probably be killed in short order with kids running it flat out with 4mm rods. Doing more MMA welding than ever here - bit of UV and the ozone from the weld process helps sanitise the welding booth and seeing as how schools are now colder than ever due to increased ventilation a spell on the welder laying lots of beads on a bit of 6mm plate warms them up nicely
Fronius, you missed a trick. All the kids are going to buy yellow machines in a few years because they've used them and know they can get better results with the Rebel than the other DIY machines they have used elsewhere....
If you’re going to convert the kids to yellow, do them a big favour and tell them they can get the same machinery for half the money in purple. And most of it is coming out of the same factory!
just saying...
Parweld? XTM 211DI looks the business. It's next on the wishlist if it is as good as the spec suggests.
Haha fair enough! Is it a welding school, or engineering shop in a school? Just to be nosy
Do you really think they'll all buy yellow in spite of the price? I suppose the new Rogues are pretty cheap, but the Rebels are still way overpriced.
The USA competition has a bit of a twist on it - they're giving a transpocket away as well, but it's a welding contest instead
